Fibonaccci group:
1. Get the FIO book Getting Around. Complete tasks 1 and 2 on pg 17 (don't do number 3) using the internet to find the time differences you need for question 1. Try www.timeanddate.com
2. Use the internet to research the following problem.
You are going to have a 3-week holiday in London, and you need to plan your trip. Because of your parents' work, you can't leave before December 6th and you must be back by back after December 27th. Plan the transport that will give you the longest possible time in London. Try different airlines/flights/stopovers and record each trip clearly in your scrapbook.
3. Write today's journal entry. Copy the WALT (use copy and paste!!!):
W.A.L.T. We are learning about different time zones around the world and how to calculate time differences.
Now: explain how time zones work and give an example you have come across in your learning today.
4. If you have time left, make sure you've completed the wiki task below (your own personal page). Then check out the 'timeline' activity under thinking skills.
